    Located in front of the Picture Me Rollin Motorcycle Emporium.
  • Corner of Flinders & South Dowling Streets
    Located diagonally opposite The Local Tap House.

2018 PARADE ACCESSIBLE VIEWING

Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade was established on the values of tolerance, acceptance and inclusion. We work towards the right for all to experience and enjoy our iconic and much loved Parade on Saturday 3 March 2018.


Enjoy watching the Parade from a managed accessible viewing location. Offering an unobstructed view of the Parade with the following features:

  • Flat accessible site
  • Accessible amenities are located close by
  • Dedicated event volunteers and security on site
  • Food vendors are located close by
These locations do not have any shelter or seating, and the surrounding precinct may experience very high levels of pedestrian traffic.

Taylor Square North

Located at the corner of Oxford & Flinders Streets, in front of the Oxford Hotel

NOTE: Registrations for this bay will only become available once Viewing Bays #1-3 are filled.

 

HOW TO REGISTER

  1. Complete the online registration form by 5pm Friday 23 February 2018.
  2. You will be asked to select your preferred viewing location and nominate if you require access to SGLMG Transfer Services.
  3. You will receive an automated email confirming your online registration has been submitted.
  4. SGLMG will contact you by phone within 5 business days to confirm your designated viewing location and discuss travelling to and from the Parade and any use of the SGLMG Transfer Services.
  5. All guests who are registered in a viewing location will be required to wear an Event Access Pass*. These are wristbands which are mailed to you between Monday 12 to Friday 23 February 2018.
  6. If you are using any of the SGLMG Transfer services, we will email you with instructions that include schedules, locations and times by 23 February 2018.

*NOTE: If registering between Monday 19 February and Friday 23 February, you may need to collect your event access pass on parade day at your designated viewing area. SGLMG will provide more information about this.
